Life happens—maybe you were settling into Singapore, or time just got away from you—and suddenly it’s summer break. Don’t panic. Even if you haven’t booked anything yet, there are still great camps open and ready. Speaking as someone who’s been in the same boat, there are plenty of last-minute options around Singapore. Here’s how to find one fast and still give your kids an awesome break:
Believe it or not, procrastinators can luck out with last-minute discounts. Some camps drop prices to fill remaining spots or open extra sessions when demand spikes. And we’re not just talking about leftovers—solid camps across sports, art, STEM, and more still pop up with space.
Where to look? Follow camps on Instagram, sign up for their newsletters, and check platforms like Jungle. I’ve seen posts like “Extra week added—10% off for new sign-ups!” crop up more than once. Jungle lets you filter fast and spot which camps are still open or have "late bird" deals. Quick click, quick fix.

Don’t underestimate a quick post in a parent WhatsApp group. Expat forums, Facebook groups, condo chats—these are goldmines. You might hear about a niche camp that’s still open or snag a last-minute spot from someone whose plans changed. I’ve personally found great options from a simple “Anyone know a camp with space next week?” message.
These networks also help with things like carpools or nudging providers to open an extra session. If three or four parents are keen, camps often listen. Don’t be shy—everyone’s been in scramble mode before.
Now’s not the time to be too picky. Sure, maybe you had your heart set on robotics, but if there’s a solid STEM or general science camp nearby, roll with it. Same with locations—if your dream camp is full, something 15 minutes further might still work, especially with a carpool or Grab split.
You can also mix it up week to week: art this week, sports the next, a home week in between. That variety can be fun for your kid and take the pressure off you to plan a perfect lineup. Think flexible, not flawless.

Don’t trust “Fully Booked” labels blindly—reach out anyway. Families cancel all the time, and waitlists can move fast. A polite WhatsApp or email might land you a slot that just freed up.
Some camps even open new sessions if enough people ask. I’ve had camps reply with “We’re launching another group next week, want in?” Just be ready to pay and confirm fast when they say yes.

If you’re in a hurry, skip the random Googling. Use a central platform like Jungle—it lists 300+ Singapore camps and lets you filter by week, age, and theme. You’ll instantly spot what’s still open for your child’s age.
Bonus: Jungle updates daily, so you won’t miss new openings or flash deals. You can scan the whole market in minutes instead of hours. It’s your shortcut to “We’ve got something booked.”

Worst case? No camp. Not ideal, but not a disaster. Playdates, Botanic Gardens, a pool day, baking, backyard science—Singapore has easy, low-cost ways to fill a day or two. You can even host your own mini “camp” at home with a few friends.
But chances are, one of the ideas above will work. So take a breath, start your search, and get ready to save summer. You’ve still got time.
